Dancers, contortionists or gymnasts, the Swedish, London-based photographer Bertil Nilsson has shot them all in a beautiful and unusual way. Taking inspiration from movement and the human form, Nilsson collaborates extensively with dancers and contemporary circus performers.
Legendary photographer Jonathan Mannion chats it up with SHHO about how he got into photography, his past work, and latest. If you’re not familiar with him I can guarantee you’ve seen his work. He’s worked Jay-Z, Nas, DMX, Aaliyah, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and many more.
This past Monday he held an event at the Apple Store in SoHo and the turn out was great. I left feeling inspired to do just about anything, but then that went to shit because I went partying. Story of my life. *shrugs*
Photos were taken around every two miles between take-off in San Francisco and landing in Paris CDG to make this airplane time lapse. Can you say COOL!
