We go behind the scenes of the ALWAYS ON series by Nike Sportswear featuring Darrelle Revis with music by Jesse Boykins III. Very dope I must say.
In Darrelle Revis’ new ALWAYS ON video, we witness the work ethic that has made him football’s most dominant cornerback. But this behind-the-scenes footage supplies further depth, especially about his interests in music. “The stereotypical athlete lives and dies sports,” says Jesse Boykins III, who provided the backing song “Island of Greatness.” “It’s good to know a cat like Darrelle is passionate about other things.” Before writing the track, Darrelle supplied a list of his favorite artists and influences, from which Boykins created a musical “gumbo.” Of course, we see Darrelle mixing it up on the field too. “They’re working me out a little bit,” he says during the shoot, his sweaty brow glistening under the beaming sun. And opposing receivers will be singing a sad song all season long.

If I get these and get the feeling that I can float around like Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong, the world will be in trouble.
Lunar foam is a recent cushioning innovation in Nike performance footwear, but the Nike SB Eric Koston is the first shoe in the Nike Action family to incorporate the technology. Marcus Troy continues his winning ways….
Marcus Troy chose two winners from the Mavericks Project to accompany him to New York City, in order to design the Maverick Project Bespokes. Carlos Sanchez, Tim Rodrigues and Marcus Troy spent hours working with IZ from Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer Street designing the new Bespokes.
The approach was to create a shoe that would be timeless and reflect the Maverick spirit of its designers. Each shoe is defined by one detail that directly speaks to the personality of these individuals.
The three of them decided on using waterproof wool for the upper, leather for the tongue and Kevlar detailing. “The shoe was meant to look grown” says Carlos Sanchez, one of the winners of the experience. Tim commented that he wanted the shoe to be classy and original.
Marcus enlisted Vince Tsang of On & Beyond to capture the essence of the shoe through photography. The photos clearly capture the ideals and thoughts behind the Maverick project Bespokes. Marcus’s vision was to create “a real man’s” type of shoe, inspired by the utilitarian and fashionable trends of today, but with the aged and vintage feel of the past.
The retrospective video was also shot by Vince Tsang, who captured Marcus in his element, discussing the Maverick Project and The Marcus Troy Experience.

Nike chairman Mark Parker’s office is a sport fanatic and hipster’s wet dream rolled into one. Talk about nostalgia. Out of all the offices I’ve seen, whether its Google, Skype, or the Nike Campus, this one takes the cake. I’ve never enjoyed looking at so many dope collectors items in one sitting.

A daughter of art, but seeing her on the stage, you can’t blame her. Eliot Paulina Sumner, better known as Coco, daughter of Sting and singer of the I Blame Coco band, was a recent Stadium Milano guest and presented the Italian public with the band’s first album: The Constant. The concert, accessible only to a small — enthusiastic — audience, was filmed by Deejay TV and will be broadcast soon as the sixth part of “Live from the Running Club”, the show transmitted live from the basement of Nike Stadium, and which has already featured Jamaica, Nina Zilli, Marracash, N*E*R*D and Tinie Tempah.

Nike Dunk Hi Premium “White Ice”
A couple of days ago we gave you a preview of the upcoming Nike Sportswear “White Pack” which features an Air Force 1, an Air Max 90, an Air Max BW Gen II and a Dunk. The latter model is seen here in detail. The photo reveals that this Dunk contains a unique tumbled patent leather-like material for the majority of its upper. The crackled material is contrasted nicely by the ever-so-popular icy sole, along with monochromatic elements such as the laces, stitching and the inner lining. What are your thoughts on the Nike Dunk Hi “White Pack”?

Video: Ganso | Repay the Faith
Finally, we’ll get to see Ganso back on the pitch. From watching the Brazil friendlies without him, it was pretty awful to watch. The midfield was in disarray and the team just didn’t seem to have that same flair that they normally play with. Now with Ganso back and hopefully Neymar comes back around, the fans of Brazil soccer will once again have something to cheer about.
