Kith x Shades Of Grey Baseball Jacket By Micah Cohen

Having both Shades of Grey and Ronnie Fieg gear it only makes sense that I’d get this combination. Support this man. His movement is getting greater by the moment.

I teamed up with the homies at Shades to work on a cotton varsity to drop with the Salmon Toe Gels. It took a few tries to get it right but when the final sample showed up, I tried it on and I haven’t taken it off in a few weeks. The cotton Michah Cohen sourced is plush and I expected nothing less from the apparel genius. The jacket has a tailored fit and looks super clean on the body. Priced at $220, 54 pieces made and will release on the September 30th at 11am Est. with the Salmon Toes. There will be 24 pieces at the Kith shop for in store purchase and 30 pieces will go up on

Event: Brooklyn Magazine Fall 2011 Issue Launch Party

After a long day of trolling around SoHo I decided to make the trek over the bridge for Brooklyn Magazine’s Fall Issue Launch Party at Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. The venue alone intrigued me more than the free booze and ice cream. Yes, this is a rarity. Something else attracted me to an event besides booze and the artist performing. This party had more a laid back feel to it, more like a social. The music was of course great and if I’m correct I did hear Otis. *Salutes Hannah Rad*

Event: Swizz Beats x Joe Jonas Perform At Sounds Like PAPER 2011 (Photos & Videos)

Swizz Beatz (L-R) Joe Jonas and Swizz Beatz attend the 2011 Sounds Like PAPER Concert at The House of Vans on July 6, 2011 in New York City.

So last night Paper Magazine held their Sounds Like PAPER concert in the Williamsburgh section of Brooklyn at House of Vans and the venue was spacious needless to say. Guests were treated to free Coronas (in a can though) and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. First thing I had to get was a beer of course, then came the Cherry Garcia (super hyped!). People were scattered everywhere, blunt smoke was in the air, empty cans and Ben & Jerry’s cups painted the faux-grassy knoll area which my crew and I where located, and eventually the porter-potty line became enormous.

Ok, let’s see some pics and videos….

Video: Buckshot x Pound Mag | The Brooklyn Boss

Its always a revelation to see one of greats (in my generation) still get shine thrown their way. Buckshot has successfully managed to stay relevant in hip-hop after the Group Home era, which was one of the great times in hip-hop growing up. Who Got Da Props! Props to the homie Drakes.

Having been in the game for close to two decades, the Brownsville Brooklyn native sat down with Pound to discuss his new book: The Common Knowledgy of the Entertainment Industry, the one person that influenced his career, a possible Bootcamp Clik reunion album, his time with the legendary Guru, and what he thinks is bullsh*t about the music business.

The BKc | Wrist Accoutrements

Although I am a fan of these wrist bracelets, I think this is more geared to females. Guys do wear multiple bracelets i.e. me, but I feel more than 3 is overkill. Women can wear as many as they want cause it’ll look good on them, as for guys, not so much. Like I said I’m a fan but you won’t catch me with twenty damn bracelets on at once. Brooklyn Circus did make a good move with these though, so expect me to have one F.Y.I.
