On July 15th Tenue de Nîmes put together a launch celebrating the release of the Indigo-Dyed Chuck Taylor All-Stars.
I need this instrumental and Chucks ASAP!
It was a week to remember at Tenue de Nîmes. The launch of the Tenue de Nîmes Indigo-dyed Chuck Taylor All Star shoe was crazy. After the press provided some amazing coverage when we shared our collaboration we got emails, tweets and FB messages from all over the globe. Unfortunately we dip-dyed only a limited amount of 50 pairs of Converse shoes. For those of you who were not able to be at the launch of the Tenue de Nîmes Indigo-dyed Chuck Taylor All Star this Friday we hereby present you a little movie that will share a glimpse of the event. To all of you who were not so fortunate to purchase a pair this time: We are following up the success of the Oxford Chuck’s with a small run of high-top Chuck Taylors in a few weeks. So stay tuned! Special thanks goes out to Brandmeester’s and Heineken.

One word. CLEAN.
Undercover’s Jun and fragment’s Hiroshi worked over 5 colors of Nike Match Classics last summer. This summer we see two more attractive suede color-ups of the sneaker – Ocean Fog and Soft Grey – each with the same repeat branding around the midsole we saw on the first round releases. In the UK, they’ll be a Dover Street Market exclusive. Releasing shortly.

You already saw the preview, now check out Javid’s full interview with the legendary DJ Clark Kent where he talks about convincing Jay-Z to take rap seriously, helping him record and shop his early demos and an interesting first meeting with then up and coming rapper Shyne. Then Clark gets into his fabled sneaker collection, how many pairs he has left even after giving away more than 2,000 pairs to charity and what pair of shoes he would wear if it had to be the same one for the rest of his life.
If some of you don’t know about DJ Clark Kent. Do your hip-hop homework.

I’ll pass on these, but some of you my think these are dope.
Ateliers Arthur offers a bridge between classic bench-made silhouette and trainers. Each collection is the fruit of an immersion process whose primary goal is to create remarkable/premium dress sneakers for a metropolitan lifestyle. Superior craftsmanship and material selection are at the core of every step of our process, all bound by consistent fundamentals: quality, form and function. Drawing inspiration from a not so long gone era of well heeled men, Ateliers Arthur unexpected collections bring out classic elegance while capturing the essence and energy of contemporary lifestyle.
Their Spring 2011 “Tuskegee” is modified from calf skin leather to a water-resistant, ballistic nylon, which will be available in a navy blue as well as a cordovan burgundy.

I’ve noticed something while watching the majority of UCONN star Kemba Walker’s games this season. Everytime he wears Jordans, he has a big game. Don’t believe me? Good. I’m about to prove it. And people wonder why I only wear Jordans to play ball in.
Jordan XII – 42 pts vs. Vermont
Jordan XII – 31 pts vs. Wichita St.

When I saw these at Upscale I had to share these. Moncler is just trying to be known for just bubble coats & vests, they’re making strides in the footwear department as well. This shoe features tobacco brown leather, jagged detail, Moncler logo and perforated detail on the sides, and a textured rubber sole. If you’re familiar with Moncler then you know all of their products aren’t for the frugal-minded, these will run you $383 deep.
