Video: Keyshia Cole Covers Mary J’s “I’m Goin’ Down”
Last night Keyshia Cole paid tribute to Ms. Mary J. Blige with her rendition of I’m Goin’ Down during her show at Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Considering that both women sing with such pain in their songs, its only fitting that Keyshia brings this track back.

Game Of The Year?
Three overtime periods!? Games like these prove why some athletes need to keep their asses on college, its a MAN’S game. With stat lines like these: Kobe Bryant – 42 points, 9 rebounds and 9-for-11 from the free throw line in 48 minutes. Steve Nash – 19 points, 20 assists while playing 49 minutes. Mind you, these guys are well into their 30s. Originally, I had the first meeting between the Knicks & Celtics where Amar’e Stoudemire’s game winning three-pointer didn’t count. That was some of the best basketball I’ve seen in a LONG time. Alas, there’s tonight’s game where I thought Los Lakers would run all over Los Suns, but I was very wrong. As of now, the Suns are on the outside looking in from a playoff perspective, with games like this they’ll be right back in the hunt. RESPECT to both teams.
Shepard Fairley’s Revolutions Opening
This past Saturday night, Shepard Fairley held his exhibition Revolutions at Los Angeles’ Robert Berman Gallery. If you’re not familiar with Fairley, he’s the one that designed the Obama poster you now see everywhere, along with plastering Obey art all over LA. The showing was in part a mini-retrospective featuring the numerous jobs which Shepard and Obey have done in their long history.
