Being extra lazy and not giving much input on posts. Check this out though, its the trailer to Arcade Fire and Spike Jonze 30-minute documentary which is out now!

Watch it here.

Director Spike Jonze teams up with Arcade Fire to create a 30 minute short film inspired by their critically acclaimed album, The Suburbs, and its themes of war and coming of age in suburbia.

Co-written by Jonze & Arcade Fire’s Win Butler & Will Butler, this companion piece to the album follows the narrator, living in a suburban dystopia, trying to piece together fragmented memories from when he was a teenager, and his experiences with his friends as they grow apart.

Video: Spike Jonze Presents Yo-Yo Ma and Lil’ Buck

World-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and street dancer Lil’ Buck make a beautiful blend of classical music and new school dance.

Yo-Yo Ma played an excerpt of “The Dying Swan” from Camille Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals and Lil’ Buck shared his own interpretation of the piece by dancing along. Apparently, this performance came about when a friend of Yo-Yo Ma saw Lil’ Buck’s YouTube videos and got the two of them together. Luckily, Spike Jonze was there to film the whole thing.
