Reebok stays winning with this series.
“I try to make albums like movies, man.” Catching up with RZA behind the scenes at Rock the Bells, it was clear that he sees everything through the prism of a movie screen, including Wu-Tang’s 1993 classic album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). When asked how it all came together, he compared the platinum album’s genre-busting style and MC collaboration to John Woo’s 1989 cult classic Hong Kong action film The Killer, just don’t ask us what it means. RZA’s lyrical genius is as prolific and out-there as ever, so grab yourself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and take a trip to Shaolin…RZA does not disappoint.

Swizz Beats has made it official that he’ll be working with Reebok to release an updated version of The Kamikaze. In this partnership, Swizz will be engaged closely to the brand on many different levels, from developing initiatives and working directly with the product. He’s been giving the role of curator of the Reestyle Collective, which is comprised of artistic minds from around the world. Reestyle Collective will create and produce a wide range of creative content from music, dance, art, and style. No word as to when the Kamikazes will be released. I kind of like the originals, this is coming from a shameful Shawn Kemp fan. Reign Man? What the hell happened!?
