Chrissy Teigen | Me In My Place

As part of an ongoing series, Chrissy Teigen shot by MeInMyPlace for Esquire Magazine. They’re shockingly heavy, actually. One of them is a little brassy because his nephew dropped one and they sent him a replacement and it’s not nearly as good as the original — maybe to deter you from dropping it in the first place. John tweeted it and the Grammy’s immediately tweeted him back and got him a new one. It’s crazy how that crap works.

I absolutely LOVE the Me In My Place series for Esquire. This go round we have the Thai/Scandinavian model Chrissy Teigen. May I add that her twitter is awesome as well.

John Legend is a lucky man. We’ve seen him at a couple Esquire parties, and then immediately we see his girlfriend. Turns out she doesn’t just wear bathing suits and hold arms for a living. Far from it: 25-year-old Chrissy Teigen also designs the swimwear, keeps up the occasional food blog, writes this sex-and-dating column, and commands one of the livelier feeds on the Twitter. She’s pretty fking funny, too, and just so happens to be a fan of MeInMyPlace.com. So she e-mailed the other day, and invited our photographer friend over to take some photos while she had her East Village apartment all to herself….

Enjoy more pics after the jump.

The Artist Toolbox: John Legend | Behind The Scenes

Great, great interview. I was fortunate to watch it a few months ago and again today. Catch the series on PBS.

Christine Teigen | Why Is She So Awesome?

Whenever I check my twitter (which is every other minute) I make sure to be on the lookout for @ChrissyTeigen’s tweets. Why? Cause her tweets are pretty damn funny and she has no filter, which caught me by surprise. Most celebs like to play the celeb-role. This role consists of being politically correct and always saying the right things like feed the children or always being positive. Fuck that. I want to hear the candid thoughts of these celebs or pseudo-celebs. Twitter was made for entertainment purposes, thats why comedians strive and that’s the main reason I don’t follow to many celebs or A-listers. They suck and they’re boring. Kudos to John Legend for dating a cute and actually funny girl, they’re an extremely rare breed. Here are some of the tweets from Ms. Teigen.

Let’s not forget that she’s a SI Swimsuit model as well. Double Whammy! More pics after the jump.
