Video: Should White Rappers Use The N-Word?

From what I’ve heard and read the artists Kreyshawn and V-Nasty have dropped the N-bomb. Kreyshawn simply tweeted a quote from DMX saying “WTF YOU WANT FROM A N*GGA?! *DMX VOICE*” But I’ve read that she has used the word over and over. Then there’s V-Nasty. This chick decides to drop the N-bomb multiple times during a freestyle in Andy Milonakis’ crib. Even Eminem doesn’t say it, and if he did I guarantee he would get a pass. I know, I know, he dropped it very long time ago, but has since rectified that situation. There wasn’t a twitter back then and he wasn’t popular either, so there was less access.

Its getting out of hand with people (outside the african-american community) feeling that they have free reign to say it in all capacities. I don’t like using the word in the first place (slips out once every blue moon), so I don’t find it acceptable for my own people to use it. At the same time if we’re able to spin a negative into a positive then I can’t hate. That word come with so much cultural weight, it makes it harder for me to be so accepting. The problem is brevity — people don’t take the time to teach the youth about the history of this word, like get into serious conversations about it. Education is the only way people can prosper and come together in this diverse world.

Let me be clear. I do not think Kreayshawn or V-Nasty are racist at all. They are just caught up in the hype like everyone else. African-Americans can’t even bitch about this. Why? We made the word acceptable.

Ever Spray Paint A Pool With A Skateboard?

I’ll let them tell you instead…

Experimental and slightly mental. The D*Face spray paint skateboard interface. What better way to paint the pool then letting everyone get involved? With high-tech remotely controlled spray can apparatus mounted to the underside of skateboards…every line a skater took became the paint job of the pool.

The year planning is because of the complexity of making the tech remote control spray can apparatus…not for planning a pool skate party…haha…it’s my pool…we paint it and skate it all the time…no one needs to clean it…do a search for RIDICULOUS pool skateboarding to see other sessions. Thanks for watching…A Peter King Film.

Scott Rothstein’s Watch Collection Is God-like

If you’re not familiar with Scott Rothstein let’s do some quick backtracking. Ever heard of a Ponzi scheme? Yup. This tool decided to follow in the footsteps of the now infamous Bernie Madoff — he orchestrated a scheme that came out to be a $1.2 billion bill (of course he didn’t tip). Word is that Rothstein was an upstanding South Florida lawyer with friends in big places, like Florida Governor Charlie Crist. It should’ve became clear that wasn’t upstanding but instead a complete douche once he was found flaunting his numerous houses, yachts, cars, and whatever else rich idiots have.

Eventually, Rothstein was figured out by the Feds and is now facing 50 years of butthole-raping time in prison. Hopefully the victims could find some solace in this and also that the Feds will be holding an auction to sell virtually everything he has.

These are the 10 most interesting watches (out of 262) being sold during the auction, which will be held July 13th, 2011.

Most of the watches are worth tens of thousands of dollars apiece. RI-DIC-U-LOUS!

Pics after the jump.

Video: Nike SB Eric Koston & Lunarlon

If I get these and get the feeling that I can float around like Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong, the world will be in trouble.

Lunar foam is a recent cushioning innovation in Nike performance footwear, but the Nike SB Eric Koston is the first shoe in the Nike Action family to incorporate the technology. Having a combo Lunarlon sockliner/midsole makes for a skate shoe that is lightweight with a soft yet responsive full-foot cushion, protecting your feet from impact but not dampening board feel.

Tilda Swinton Is Creatively Crazy

“Alien,” “chameleon,” and “androgynous” are the words most often applied to the five-foot-eleven actress, but perhaps only because the notions of beauty she subscribes to are wholly her own. “I follow my nose,” she says. “It’s as simple as that.”

In the the latest issue of W Magazine, Tilda Swinton discusses what drives her in the entertainment business and shares thoughts about the importance the Oscars.

The article and pics are under the cut.

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Badass Poster

Christopher Nolan is arguably one of the best and most creative director/writers out right now. Can you name a bad movie he’s done? Exactly.
