Video: Spike Jonze Presents Yo-Yo Ma and Lil’ Buck

World-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and street dancer Lil’ Buck make a beautiful blend of classical music and new school dance.

Yo-Yo Ma played an excerpt of “The Dying Swan” from Camille Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals and Lil’ Buck shared his own interpretation of the piece by dancing along. Apparently, this performance came about when a friend of Yo-Yo Ma saw Lil’ Buck’s YouTube videos and got the two of them together. Luckily, Spike Jonze was there to film the whole thing.

WARNING: Extreme dopeness will occur

El Clasico: Who Will Win?

The only two teams I watch and cheer for are Chelsea and Barcelona, so I think you know my answer. Barça’s midfield is too powerful for Real Madrid. Can anyone else debate that fact? I didn’t think so. Feel free to drop some hateful comments or insight about Barça or Real. Mind you, Barça kicked Real’s ass all last season. HA!

Jordana Brewster’s Maxim Photo Shoot

She’s one of the reasons I’d see Fast Five and that its set in Rio De Janeiro, besides that, the movie looks pretty bad.

James Franco In “Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes” (Trailer)

Since I passed all the other Planet of The Apes movies, its only fitting that I see the one that actually looks good. And we caught forget the lovely Freida Pinto.

An origin story in the true sense of the word, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is set in present day San Francisco. The film is a reality-based cautionary tale — a science fiction/science-fact blend where mankind’s hubris leads to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.

Another Actor Turned Rapper?

That’s right. Rick Gonzalez from Old School and Pride & Glory attempts to make that courageous leap into hip-hop. It sounds pretty dope, but the verdict is still out on this one.

Attack Of The Show host Candace Bailey gives a peek of her photo shoot with Maxim. If she put on about 10lbs, we could talk. I still got love for her.

Taylor Lautner’s Abduction Poster

And the ladies get wood. For his sake this better be good because the last Twilight looked wack and I’m not sold on Breaking Dawn either. I won’t even speak on Valentine’s Day….well, who told gerbil-faced Taylor Swift she could act?

Mark Ruffalo for Details & Why He Quit Acting

I had no clue that he quit. Read his story on why he quit and the news that followed. FYI, I thought he was the man in The Kids Are Alright & The Brothers Bloom.

Details:

By 2009, he says, “I’d had it with L.A., and I’d really had it with the business side of acting, the machinery of it all. You’re an artist, but then all of a sudden you’re a product at the same time, and there’s this company that’s sprung up around you. I got depressed. I was losing my love for it. So I said, ‘I’m done.’ I fired everybody and moved my family out here. I had to make a radical move.”
