Seagull 1963 Chronograph Watch

Nothing like a simple and clean watch.

Mr. Williams on ACL discusses some Chinese heritage in the form of this chronograph from Seagull. “While out in Vegas I was chatting with a designer friend and his watch happened to catch my eye. It was pretty classic looking, and upon further inspection, I noticed a red star and a few Chinese characters on its face. Intrigued, I needed to know more and inquired as to it. “It’s a reproduction Chinese pilot’s watch from the ’60s.” my friend said. I took a few photos and when I got home did a little investigating on the internets. Sure enough the watch is called the Seagull 1963 and it has been recently reissued.”

Karl Lagerfeld x Colette

Fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld and Colette team up for a rock-n’-roll themed pop-up shop. Why can’t they have a Colette in NYC!? The store is located at 336-340 Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris. Featured will be graffiti-covered Chanel bags, helmets and CDs and current-season Chanel merchandise. They’re going to have a nail bar, cupcake stand and a collectible doll. This store is like Homeland Security for women, no men allowed. Ladies overseas enjoy all the potential pampering this store has to offer.

Snoop Dogg x Rosa Acosta x Colt 45

Snoop seems to be a spokeman for hire. Who still drinks Colt 45? Last time I drank it I was chilling with Doughboy trying to convince the USC recruiter to give me a scholarship for baseball. Since that didn’t work I’m here sharing my war stories with strangers who read my blog, strangers who I appreciate. So Colt 45 figures they would corner the market with this fruity-ass ‘Blast?’ First Jack Daniel’s now this? Things like this will drive me to sobriety or off a cliff after dousing myself with gasoline and lighting a Cohiba.

Gerard Piqué for H.E. by Mango | Spring 2011 Campaign

Looks like soccer isn’t the only thing the Barcelona and Spain star is up to. Its not often you see many soccer players model and make it across the pond, but its good to see the expansion of the sport. Salud!

This actually made me smile, not sure if it was because Rodrigo y Gabriela is the background music or just the “dancing” books.

Charlie Sheen’s Final Rant

Topper Harley had a lot to say when he phoned into Alex Jones’ radio show yesterday. Careful, this is legendary.

“I think it was Nails that said, and I was really flattered that he got it right, he might be Nails, but I’m bayonets. I’m battle tested bayonets… I’m so tired of pretending like my life isn’t just perfect and just winning every second, and I’m not just perfect and bi**hing and just delivering the goods at every frickin’ turn. Look what I’m dealing with, man. I’m dealing with fools and trolls. I’m dealing with soft targets, and it’s just strafing runs in my underwear before my first cup of coffee … they lay down with their ugly wives and their ugly children and just look at their loser lives and then they look at me and say, ‘I can’t process it.’ Well, no, and you never will! Stop trying! Just sit back and enjoy the show.”

He opens up about the women he’s been living with — his so called “porn family.”

“Let me say this about the Goddesses, I don’t think the term is good enough, but when you’re bound by these terrestrial descriptions, you must use the best term available. So if you think about it dude, I’m 0-for-3 in marriage, but like in baseball, the scoreboard doesn’t lie. Never has. So what we all have is a marriage of the hearts. And to sully, contaminate, or radically disrespect this unit with a shameful contract is something I’ll leave to the amateurs and bible grippers.”
Then, talk about his ex-wife Brooke Mueller and the vacation he was taking with her and two other women:

“And I just gotta add this, there was a whole firestorm about Brooke being a part of our crew… Where there were four, there are now three. Good-bye, Brooke, and good luck in your travels; you’re going to need it. Badly … She’s not there now and we are and I don’t know, winning, anyone? Rhymes with winning? Anyone? Yeah, that would be us. Sorry man, didn’t make the rules. Oops.”

On his recovery — which he is entirely responsible for himself:

“I have cleansed myself. I closed my eyes and in a nanosecond, I cured myself… It’s the work of sissies. The only thing I’m addicted to is winning. This bootleg cult, arrogantly referred to as Alcoholics Anonymous, reports a 5 percent success rate. My success rate is 100 percent. Do the math … another one of their mottoes is ‘Don’t be special, be one of us.’ Newsflash: I am special, and I will never be one of you! I have a disease? Bulls**t! I cured it with my brain, with my mind. I cured it, I’m done … you don’t look like you’re having a lot of fun. I’m gonna hang out with these two smoking hotties and fly privately around the world. It might be lonely up here but I sure like the view, Alex!”

On not being pushed around anymore:

“I’m sorry, man, but I’ve got magic. I’ve got poetry in my fingertips. Most of the time — and this includes naps — I’m an F-18, bro. And I will destroy you in the air. I will deploy my ordinance to the ground.”

And his lovely take on the hard working media, who Alex Jones says alleged that both he and Sheen worked for the Vatican as assassins:

“Guys, it’s right there in the thing, duh! We work for the Pope, we murder people. We’re Vatican assassins. How complicated can it be? What they’re not ready for is guys like you and I and Nails and all the other gnarly gnarlingtons in my life, that we are high priests, Vatican assassin warlocks. Boom. Print that, people. See where that goes.”

Video: Player Hits Himself In The Face

Unbelievable. The things athletes will do to get over. I do see this a lot in soccer though, way too much. Its to the point where I wish I were out there so I can charge someone like ram out of hell and inflict some real pain. Soccer is honestly a beautiful game but it gets major slack because of nonsense like this, diving, faking injuries, and constant complaining. Maybe FIFA should take a page out of the NBA rule book and start handing out yellow/red cards like candy. I was against it at first with the NBA, the preseason was absolutely ridiculous with the technicals the refs were giving, when the season started they calmed down and so did the player’s complaints. It works, so FIFA give it a try.

Is It The Shoes?!

I’ve noticed something while watching the majority of UCONN star Kemba Walker’s games this season. Everytime he wears Jordans, he has a big game. Don’t believe me? Good. I’m about to prove it. And people wonder why I only wear Jordans to play ball in.

Jordan XII – 42 pts vs. Vermont

Jordan XII – 31 pts vs. Wichita St.

More proof after the jump.

KTM X-Bow Is Awesome

The X-Bow is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged Audi four-cylinder with direct injection, good for 240 horsepower. While 240 hp isn’t exactly astronomical by anyone’s standards, the X-Bow’s Formula 1-style carbon fiber monocoque chassis means it’ll shoot to 60 miles per hour in less than four seconds. This lightweight chassis also helps the X-Bow pull 1.5g on a skidpad if you’re running track tires. When you finally manage to terrify yourself and your passenger, as you inevitably will, huge Brembo brakes will bring you to a halt from 60 mph in just 99 feet.

To get the car legal for stateside use, KTM has to import the X-Bow as a kit car, which means supplying the Audi powerplant is up to you. To get your hands on one, contact British Racing Group, where you’ll get an estimated purchase price proposal from one of the customer relations specialists.

I guess we can say goodbye to the T-Rex.

More pics under the cut.
